Security Overview

This page summarises the security approach used to protect the GoGarageFlow platform and garage data.

Security approach

GoGarageFlow is operated by Smart Flow Systems with a practical security model designed for real workshop use: controlled access, garage data separation, reliable backups, audit visibility and careful operational maintenance.

Access controls

  • authenticated user accounts for protected areas;
  • role-based access for garage staff;
  • garage-level workspace separation;
  • separate access paths for paired workshop devices; and
  • restricted platform administration.

Data protection measures

Measures include managed cloud infrastructure, database security rules, audit records, secure payment redirection, cache update controls, backup practices and limited support access where needed to assist garages.

Payments

Card and payment processing is handled by Stripe where payment features are enabled. GoGarageFlow does not ask garages to send card details by email or support chat.

SMS gateway security

Where SMS gateway features are used, paired devices should be kept physically secure, charged, connected and used only for authorised garage messaging.

Incident reporting

Security concerns should be reported promptly to support@gogarageflow.com. Please include the garage name, affected user, device, time and any relevant error or screenshot.

Shared responsibility

Garages must manage staff access, remove users who no longer need access, protect devices and train staff to handle customer data responsibly.
